OUR PROCESS

We’ll talk, email, or if you are local to the Springfield, Missouri area we can meet for coffee. We can sit down and look at color swatches, discuss your ideas and review samples. Each bride is unique and your wedding invitations should be as well. Keep in mind that it’s never too soon to start working on your wedding invitations. We suggest a lead-time of at least 14 to 16 weeks before your big day, however it’s best to start earlier if possible.

From the first announcement of your wedding with unique save the date postcards or magnets to those special wedding invitations, designed just for you; we are here to make that process effortless. After a conversation with you and a 50% non-refundable down payment, we will start the design process. Based on your time line, complexity of the project, and our production schedule, initial designs will be presented in 1 to 3 weeks. You’ll receive an email with a PDF proof of your invitation. Based on your feedback and requests, you will have three rounds of revisions free of charge. Each additional proof may require a charge of $10 per revision. We will notify you in advance if there will be additional charges.

Once the design is approved and the remaining balance is received, the printing process will begin. It is the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER to proofread the proof very carefully and check for errors. Maxim Creative Invites IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for errors once your order is sent to print production. We can create a hard copy proof flat at your request so you can review just what your invitations will look like printed. Next, you’ll sign a print approval and in just a few short weeks (usually much less) you will receive your order in the mail or in person if you are local to the Springfield, Missouri area. Expect approximately 1 to 2 weeks for printing and shipping from proof approval for wedding invitations. Shipping is not included and Missouri residents will be subject to a 5.475% sales tax on paper goods. We recommend starting your project at least 14 to 16 weeks before your event, but can still accommodate you for shorter turnaround times.
